Commissioned by the landmark Hilton Chicago Hotel, the design team of Meri Meis and Associates utilized Couristan’s Omni Weave Electronic Jacquard Axminster Program to create over 40,000 square yards of exquisite carpeting for the hotel’s Lobby, Grand and International Ballrooms and Pre-Function spaces, as well as the corridors on all 29 guest room floors. Creating a rich look in sync with the hotel’s historic setting, the firm selected Couristan’s custom-designed handmade wool area rugs to complement the regal décor of the Imperial Guest Suites.
