New showroom dedicated to company’s deep roots in the floorcovering industry   

 Fort Lee, NJ – October 16, 2024 – – Couristan is proud to announce the grand opening of a new 2,659 square foot High Point Market showroom within the IHFC building, space #D335. The company will be celebrating the grand opening of the showroom on Sunday, October 27th from 3:00-6:00pm with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

The aesthetic of the new showroom is mid-century modern with a twist and pays an ode to the lineage of the 98-year-old company while bringing the company into the now. Products are featured in vignettes with most products displayed on 6’ x 9’ racks, and two racks dedicated specially to display 8’ x 10’ area rugs to help showcase the company’s design direction of high-end handmade products. The company’s latest designer-driven residential broadloom products and custom rug program will be showcased within the company’s established and well-recognizable visual merchandising displays.

As the company nears its 100th anniversary, a prominently displayed “History Wall” showcasing the company’s deep roots and honoring the pioneers of the company and its past offerings will provide customers with a cozy, family-type working environment.

Couristan Appoints Len Andolino as President – Company drives toward its 100th anniversary as it looks to elevate its storied legacy

Andolino brings over three decades of sales, product development, strategic planning and merchandising initiative experience in the flooring covering industry.

As a multi-generational business that was established in 1926 and grounded on the foundation of quality and designer-driven styled products, Couristan, has begun the process of establishing a blueprint for its future as it drives towards its 100th anniversary. This strategic hire will further the company’s ability to capitalize on opportunities within the rapidly changing floor covering marketplaces as the company continues to focus on the development and manufacturing of innovative products that are reflective of the Couristan brand while meeting demands from the market for quality area rugs and broadloom products.

In recent years the company has made some key leadership investments including the appointment of Bob Tucci as Executive Vice President of Broadloom. Tucci will now serve the company as Executive Vice President of Residential Sales and will lead Couristan’s exploration and strategic development of new business opportunities within all account segments for the company’s residential broadloom and area rug product portfolios. Tucci will be reporting to Andolino.

TWO NEW DISPLAY UNITS SHOWCASE COURISTAN’S AWARD-WINNING OUTDOOR/INDOOR RESIDENTIAL BROADLOOM AND SIGNATURE AREA RUG COLLECTIONS

FORT LEE, NJ – January 17, 2022 – Focusing on elevating the brand on every level, Couristan has developed two new merchandising display units for the company’s award-winning Outdoor/Indoor Residential Broadloom assortment and Signature Area Rug Collections category. Designed to enhance the point-of-purchase experience and creatively display the company’s innovative fashions, these unique, upscale units are space-saving solutions that are both attractive and functional.

The Signature Area Rug Collections Display Unit was designed to accommodate the strategic layout and creative look of virtually any showroom. With its modern-edge appearance and unique product reveal aesthetics, the display itself is a seamless extension of the Couristan brand, emphasizing sophistication and trend-setting styling.
